As an interpreting and translating service provider, we believe that our interpreters and translators can help our clients to:
- make the most of our linguistic and cultural competence to narrow the disparities and to bridge the gaps between intercultural communications;
- foster awareness of and respect for different cultures, varying viewpoints and beliefs;
- assure an understanding of issues affecting our economic, social and political dynamics in an adversely polarized, yet increasingly multilateral and collaborative global environment.
The following are some areas of interpreting and translating services that our interpreters and translators have provided to our clients since 1996:
- Litigation and immigration
- Medical and mental healthcare

INTERPRETERS
Our interpreters, who are native speakers of Chinese, are among the most competent in the interpreting profession. All of them are experienced in simultaneous, consecutive and sight interpreting modes for various business conferences, court proceedings, depositions, escorting visitors, medical treatments and healthcare consultations. The dialects our interpreters speak as their native languages include:
- Mandarin – the de facto official and most commonly spoken dialect by the majority of Chinese (900-1,000 million) in China as well as many of the overseas Chinese today. Mandarin is also one of the six working languages of the United Nations.
- Wu Dialect – together with Shanghai vernacular, spoken by the people (over 90 million) in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces along the central east coast of China.
- Cantonese – spoken by the population (over 85 million) from Guangdong Province, Hong Kong, Macau, and many of the Chinese Diasporas in Singapore and Malaysia as well as pockets of Chinese communities, large or small, across the continents of the globe.
- Fujianese – spoken by the people (about 70 million) on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, namely Fujian Province and Taiwan, which is also categorized into Northern Fujianese including the capital region Fuzhou vernacular and Southern Fujianese spoken in Taiwan.
Nevertheless, the above as well as other dialects (officially designated eight – Mandarin, Wu, Cantonese, Northern and Southern Fujianese, Kejia, Gan and Xiang) spoken by the Chinese both in China and overseas are all mutually intelligible because the one and only difference among all dialects lies in pronunciations or in tonal variations. Hence, the speakers of these dialects can readily understand each other semantically by reading written texts without intentionally learning any linguistic differences thanks to the uniformity of a writing system that consists of the same characters, vocabularies and sentence structures for more than two thousand years.
